My name is Seppe Van Limbergen and in Januari 2024 I departed on a solo world trip for one year.
I will be travelling around the globe in easterly direction until it’s time to head back home. I am very excited to see the world, experience new cultures, explore new countries and see more of the planet, discovering more of myself in the process.
I made this blog after popular request from friends and family so they can follow me along my trip. It is a lot easier making a blog post once a week than sending a bunch of messages and pictures every day. Atleast now I have something to look back to once I return home.
More about me
I am 25 years old, living in Belgium. I like traveling and the outdoors. During covid I got into hiking and I’ve been on numerous hiking trips every since, be it local or further abroad.
These last years I have travelled to a bunch of destinations, from the Tatra mountains in Slovakia to the tropical islands in the Carribean. All during my vacation days whilst working fulltime, saving up money for this big trip.
During my travels I always make way too many pictures, and i have a hard time sorting out similar ones and deleting them. All of the photos in this blog are my own, taken over several years. Even tho I am pretty harsh on myself and not easily satisfied, I post the ones I’m proud of on Instagram.
I have traveled solo a couple times before, and always liked it, never this long tho so I’m curious how I will adapt to traveling long term and what it will be like.
I’m looking forward to meeting new people and fellow-minded travellers.
It will be a new experience, with ups and downs, but in the end it will all be worth it.
Food is amazing, I’m dying to try out a different cuisine and discover new flavours
In the evenings, you might find me in a open area with a view. I have a big soft spot for sunsets and I’ve got tonnes of pictures of them. There’s nothing better after a long day than relaxing with a great view and watching the sun set.
